I know its not money persay, but it is an easy way to earn a free dinner or a new dress.

Its also not quick…but if your going to be reading your emails anyways, you might as well be getting something for it.

I have used this site for years and generally turn my points in for store certificates close to Christmas, it really comes in handy that time of the year.

So, I have had this domain name for a little over a year now and have done NOTHING with it.  Dumb right?  Yup!

I have had tons of ideas…just never followed through (story of my life).

The other day, I decided to finally make use of it.  I took $15.00 (from my writing) and purchased 3 months of hosting from Godaddy.com and created a website/blog.

Well, I just published my first post.  I’m very excited about that.
I do have other plans for it as well…those will come to fruition later (hopefully not too much later).

This new venture will not be about dogs and cats exclusively, but will discuss other types of pets well.

What is it they say?  Pursue your passion and the money will follow?  We shall see.

Schedules…the world revolves around them.  So why is it so hard to create and stick to one?

Maybe its a lack of self discipline, maybe a lack of the proper motivation, I don’t know.   Whatever it is, I need to figure it out – the quicker, the better.

I can make lists and diagragms all day long…on paper, it looks great – it looks so do-able.  Then real life shows up with play costumes that need to be made, cuts that need to be tended to, dinner to be made, you get the idea…life.    In comes life, out goes my perfect schedule.

I am still playing with exactly how all of the things in my life fit together so that everything gets done and not much gets forgotten (not the important stuff anyways).

I used to write web articles when I wanted/ needed extra cash in a short amount of time.  Apparently, I am not bad at it as I found it fairly easy to find decent jobs…but alas, I managed to ruin that by becoming complacent with deadlines and communication.

So, I have had to start over.  I have found (or rather re-found) some sites that I have decided to write for.  Now, I realize that these sites are not going to make me tons of money over night, but I do think that over time, they have the potential to bring in an ok amount of money on a monthly basis.

To those of you who know me, it will come as no surprise that most of these are about animals in one aspect or another.

So far, it hasn’t been too bad…in 6 days, I have made $20.32.  However, apparently the majority of the money comes from page views…so, please visit, read and leave comments.

Ok, so here’s the deal.
I am fed up with the way life is going -  there has got to be a better way.  There has got to be some way to make a decent living that does not involve leaving my children and husband for prolonged periods of time…to spend the majority of my waking hours with people who would, likewise, all rather be someplace else.

Now don’t get me wrong…I am very lucky and I know it.  I work for a fantastic company which gives me the flexibility to spend more time with my children than a lot of mothers who work outside the home are affored…but I still miss out on things that are important to them…I still have to choose between a full paycheck and a school event.

I also know that I am not alone in that decision making.  I know that there are millions of parents, who everyday, struggle with the fact that they must tell their children goodbye and send them to someone else to care for them.  I know that there are other husbands and wives who only see each other in passing and on weekends.  I know this.  But just because I know this, does not mean that  I have to settle for it.

Given this knowledge, the fact that there has to be a better way to make it in today’s world, a way that allows families to be together without fear of being homeless or hungry.  I have decided to do something about it for my family.

I AM GOING TO MAKE IT BETTER FOR US.

How???  I have some plans up my sleeve and some ideas that I have had simmering in my head for some time now.  What I don’t have is a lot of money to sink into this.  This has to be done for either free or very low cost. 

I believe that I can do it.  I believe that you can do it to.
